Billy Evans – Brisbane #46

imagesBilly Evans was picked up by the Brisbane Lions with pick 4 in the 2014 Rookie Draft after an outstanding 2014 season with the Bendigo Pioneers in the TAC Cup and with Vic Country in the Under 18 National Championships.

In his 12 games for the Bendigo Pioneers Billy averaged 23 disposals and kicked an impressive 14 goals which shows not only can he find the ball, he also knows where the goals are.

In 2015 after working on his game at reserve level, Billy was able to break into the senior side and hold his place for the final 5 AFL games of 2015. Having had a taste of senior football he will be well prepared for a big 2016 season.
