GUTSY veteran Tom Logan has signed a one-year contract extension with Port Adelaide.
The 28-year-old played 10 games for the Power in 2013, finishing the season in great form, including a near best on ground performance in the Power’s Elimination Final win over Collingwood.
Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley said he was delighted Logan would continue into a ninth season at Alberton.
“We all know the attributes Tommy brings to the club with his toughness and determination, but he’s also a great character,” Hinkley said.
“He’s survived on the back of one year contracts for a number of years and he knows he’s that type of player and he has to be very desperate every time he plays.
“Tom had an excellent finish to the year, especially in those two finals, and he deserves an opportunity to go on with us in 2014.”
Logan has played 111 games for the Power after moving to Alberton from Brisbane at the end of the 2005 season.
